Buying a Piano Disclaimer:

None of the pianos listed for sale are the property of Piano Scouts. The pianos are the possession of either private individuals or businesses independent of Piano Scouts. Although most of the pianos have been examined by professional piano tuners and/or technicians who have provided Piano Scouts with the information on the condition of the pianos for sale, Piano Scouts cannot verify and does not guarantee the accuracy of the information. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify the description and condition of each piano. Before purchasing any piano, Piano Scouts strongly recommends that the piano buyer hire a qualified piano tuner/technician, of their own choosing, to acquire an independent appraisal of such piano. If you need the name and phone number of a qualified piano tuner/technician (a member of the Piano Technician's Guild), please contact Piano Scouts.

Selling Your Piano Disclaimer:

Piano Scouts does not guarantee that a buyer will be found to purchase your piano. If your piano has not been sold within two months of first appearing on the Piano Scouts web site, it is an indication that your selling price may exceed the actual market value of your piano. Should you want to continue to have Piano Scouts advertise your piano, we encourage you to lower your selling price by at least 10%.
